Why Sparkd? What does Sparkd mean?

Sparkd means the effect of being sparked in your brain, the ignition of sparks in your brain, your neurons firing and wiring while you exercise and dual-task. Exercise promotes brain plasticity, Neuroplasticity by stimulating growth of new connections between cells in many parts of the brain. Neuroplasticity is the ability of the brain to rewire itself and create new connections especially in response to new learning and stimuli.

What is Sparkd’s mission?

Sparkd wants to help people improve on their brain performance, from kids’ development, to sports performance, to maintenance, to slowing cognitive decline.

Sparkd was born from the desire of helping people fight cognitive decline, MCI (mild cognitive impairments), dementia, Alzheimers’, Parkinson disease and it evolved to helping  everyone at any age because of the massive applications to all population.

Sparkd was born from the desire of helping people with their lifespan and health span to live a long and healthy life from a brain and body perspective. 

Why is Sparkd different? 

Sparkd is Asia’s first Brain and Fitness Hub. We bring together over 20 years of scientifically validated and researched-based technologies to train both the brain and the body. Our classes are designed to isolate and integrate the use of the various faculties of the brain whilst challenging the body to move in increasingly complex ways. 

Our technologies are trusted by elite athletes, military and health professions to increase brain performance. We tailor our classes and sessions to hone in on the brain’s core functions – train and strengthen them in ways you would train any other muscle in your body.
